My Name is Lyn Adams

 I am a lifelong Clyde Hill resident who is proud to call this city home. My brothers and I grew up at the bottom of the hill, and my husband Greg and I raised our family on top of the hill – at the same address for 40 years. Having volunteered with the city in the past, I am now running for City Council to offer a fresh perspective and ensure our hometown remains one of the best-run small cities in Washington. 


After a long and dedicated career in Human Resources, I bring a deep commitment to people’s well-being. Government works best when it is transparent, inclusive, and your city council listens, speaks and engages residents in meaningful ways. 


My top priorities are public safety, maintaining the beauty and balance of our unique landscapes, preserving and representing a sense of community. 

Our city budget challenges are real, but solvable. We can find thoughtful, sustainable solutions together through a working collaboration between city staff, the budget task force, engaged council members, our mayor and accepted resident input. 


Our family has a deep sense of place here. With three generations of UW Husky graduates, I still enjoy my music major and continue to record and perform. I love the outdoors, and you may see me out walking with our well-known corgi, Lad.

I’m running for City Council because I care deeply about Clyde Hill—its people, its character, and its future. This city has been home to my family for generations, and I want to help ensure it remains a safe, beautiful, and well-governed place to live. With my background in Human Resources and a lifelong commitment to listening and collaboration, I believe I can bring a thoughtful, people-centered perspective to the Council.
